MGTS is an innovative and resourceful leader in the provision of workforce development solutions through education, training and assessment providing apprentice training as well as a full range of commercial courses.

MGTS is continually developing and expanding its portfolio of education, training and assessment solutions and as a consequence is now seeking to recruit a Training & Development Adviser with a sound background in electrical/mechanical/multi-skilled engineering.  Core responsibility of the role is the coaching, mentoring, supporting and assessing apprentices and adults through modern standards.

The role will require the successful candidate to manage a caseload of local, regional and national companies which will require travel and some overnight accommodation.

Previous training and assessment experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Role Requirements:
  • Driving licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter who is proactive and organised
  • Ability to manage own diary time
  • Customer facing
  • Provide Information, Advice and Guidance [IAG] to customers
  • Develop training plans
  • Maintain training files
  • Experience of working to a QA system

Salary and Benefits:

 An initial annual salary of circa £45,000 dependent upon experience, is offered to the successful candidate, together with 25 days annual holiday, plus 8 statutory days, pension, private medical insurance and company car.

Monday to Friday – 36 hours
