We are specialists in our area of Aerospace manufacturing and engineering. Our business is to design and manufacture Cryogenic coolers & high pressure pneumatic Stored Energy systems for defence and space applications, which we have been doing for over 85 years.

Aerospace Engineering Apprentices will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the business with a focus on Engineering disciplines such as Design, Research and Development, Stress Analysis, Performance Analysis and Project or Systems Engineering.

You will focus on all aspects related to the full lifecycle of systems and products. You will be expected to design, develop, specify, analyse, test, validate and modify designs and solutions to satisfy customers requirements and in-service Operations.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grades B/6 or above (or equivalent) - Including Maths and English.

Training to be Provided

  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)

Things to Consider

The first year of the apprenticeship will be delivered at MGTS centre in Redditch.

Future prospects

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there is potential to progress into full-time employment in our engineering or professional services.
