As a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician you ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding safety, quality, delivery and cost within high value manufacturing environments.
Typically the work would cover a broad range of duties including: Fault Diagnosis, Pneumatic, Electrical and Process Control Equipment, Installation, Commissioning and Testing.
This apprenticeship trains you for a variety of maintenance roles such as a Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Electronics, Fluid Power, Lift Services, Plant & Systems.
You could also move into Technical Sales, Maintenance Team Management and Contract Management.
Your employer may offer opportunities to progress onto a higher apprenticeship or advance to gain a degree level qualification.

A four- year academic and on the job apprenticeship to achieve the Food and Drink Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship. During this time you will learn both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines with the view to move into a full-time Maintenance Engineer role upon successful completion.
Annual Salary: £16,640
Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday
