Engineering Fitters produce complex high value, low volume components or assemblies in full or part, using machines, equipment or systems, to the required specification. 

They will interpret drawings/specifications, plan their work and be required to check against quality standards and make adjustments as required based on their knowledge.

Apprentice Food & Drink Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer at Geary’s, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the bakery equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure safety.

Annual Salary: £15,000

Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm

Closing Date: 31st July 2024

Apprentice Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Will include day to day electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification, planned preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.

Annual Salary: £12,896

Hours: 38.75 per week, Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 12pm. Whilst at training provider

Apprentice Process Engineer

Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success.

Annual Salary: £12,646

Hours: 38 per week, Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 12pm. Whilst at training provider
