Engineering Fitters produce complex high value, low volume components or assemblies in full or part, using machines, equipment or systems, to the required specification. 

They will interpret drawings/specifications, plan their work and be required to check against quality standards and make adjustments as required based on their knowledge.

Career Paths

Engineering Fitters may typically pursue careers in mechanical, electrical, electronic, control systems, pipe fitting or instrumentation bias or operate across multiple disciplines depending on the type of products or assemblies of the business sector.

Mechatronics Maintenance Engineering Apprentice

As part of the team working in a brewery producing world-leading beverage brands, the successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineering technicians undertaking planned maintenance and repairs in a busy operational environment.

Annual Salary: £16,170

Hours: 36 per week, Monday – Thursday 8am until 4pm. Friday 8am until 12pm. Whilst at the training provider
