We are pleased to announce that learners are now able to study for a HND in Engineering at our Coventry Technical Centre from September 2021. This step has been taken on the back of the introduction of a very successful HNC Programme which attracted record numbers in September 2020. This initiative is the next step in developing MGTS’ FE/HE capability which currently supports c.300 learners.
This level of qualification is designed to meet the growing demand for engineers to be equipped with modern skill sets, have work related and technical knowledge that encompass the engineering functions of design, manufacture and maintenance. It follows on directly from the HNC programme.
Delegates will develop their understanding of engineering principles and further mathematics to enable them to solve more complex engineering problems. In addition, they will enhance their ability to manage and carry out professional and research projects. Other subjects will enable students to contribute to aspects of Lean Manufacturing as well as the importance of sustainability in modern engineering environments.
