MGTS is continually developing and expanding its portfolio of technical delivery to industry and as a consequence is now seeking to recruit a Technical Trainer / Assessor with a sound background in mechanical engineering including fluid power. Core responsibility of the role is the delivery of training and assessment to learners of all ages in core pneumatic skills and core hydraulic skills. In addition, some electrical experience would be advantageous as well
as experience in:

  • Machining [turning, milling and fitting]
  • Mechanical maintenance

Role Requirements

  • Driving licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter who is proactive and organised
  • Train and assess learners
  • Develop and present training material
  • Produce reports
  • Monitor candidate performance
  • Experience of working to a QA system

Salary and benefits

An initial annual salary of circa £37,000 dependent upon experience is offered to the successful candidate, together with 25 days annual holiday, plus 8 statutory days, pension and private medical insurance.
