MGTS is continually developing and expanding its portfolio of technical delivery and as a consequence is now seeking to recruit the following:

WELDING TECHNICAL TRAINER / ASSESSOR (REASEHEATH COLLEGE, NANTWICH x 1)

We are seeking a technical trainer / assessor with experience of the food and drink processing engineering; specifically someone who has the ability to weld in a variety of materials, but mainly TIG welding stainless steel sheet and tube.

The core responsibility of the role is the delivery of training and assessment to food and drink processing industry apprentices and adults in TIG welding skills.  In addition, skills in supporting the following disciplines would also be advantageous: Mechanical Maintenance / Pneumatics & Hydraulics / Fitting & Assembly. This opportunity would suit a qualified welder with engineering experience who is committed to delivering high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for learners.  Your broad based knowledge and experience will inspire and motivate learners.

MULTI-SKILLED, ELECTRICALLY BIASED TECHNICAL TRAINER (COVENTRY x 1)

The core responsibility of the role is the delivery of training and assessment to apprentices and adults in industrial electrical control systems. In addition, skills in supporting the following disciplines would also be advantageous: Mechanical Maintenance / Pneumatics & Hydraulics / Automation (including PLC controls). This opportunity would suit a qualified electrical engineer who is committed to delivering high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.  Your broad based knowledge and experience will inspire and motivate learners.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Driving Licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter who is proactive and organised
  • Train and assess candidates
  • Develop and present training material
  • Produce reports
  • Monitor learners’ performance
  • Experience of working to a QA system 

This is an opportunity to develop your career in a highly rewarding occupation. An initial salary of circa £32,000, dependent upon experience, is offered to successful applicants, together with 25 days annual holiday, plus statutory days, pension and upon completion of the probation period the option to join the company private health scheme.
