WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE:

Fire Marshal and Extinguisher training is a half day course for personnel from any sector with responsibilities for fire prevention. It provides grounding in the essentials of Fire Safety.

PROGRAMME BENEFITS:

Understand the role of a Fire Marshal
Understand the causes of fire and fire prevention
Be familiar with current fire legislation

· Behaviour during an evacuation

· Fire Safety DVD

· Practical exercise: What to do when a fire starts; Handling fire extinguishers; Removing the tag and pin; Discharging the extinguisher; The sweeping action; Depriving the fire of oxygen

Successful completion of this training will result in an MGTS Certificate.
