Who should participate:
Those who have achieved the Award in FIrst Line Management and wish to develop their management knowledge and skills further.
Programme benefits:
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- Develop skills, knowledge and techniques to enable them to become more effective first line managers
- Gain experience in self management of time and resources through the programme activity
- Implement a significant improvement opportunity in their organisation by completion of the work-based assignments and project
- Take responsibility for their own personal development
The programme will cover:
A half day induction conducted 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the programme

Professional development review workshops
A series of 6 half day workshops enabling delegates to discuss progress and identify any potential issues with their learning. A further 2 workshops will be available for delegates to discuss their projects and undertake a mock presentation.
Programme assessment
Successful completion of the thirteen training segments, 10 self study workbooks, 5 work-based assignments and a 2000 word work-based project will result in participants being awarded the ILM Certificate in First Line Management.
