• Up to 46 weeks training in MGTS Technical Academy or other approved centres.
• NVQ Level 2 - Performing Engineering Operations
• Key Skills - Level 2
• Additional training in Modern Manufacturing Techniques and a project which involves planning, design and manufacturing
• Further Education - BTEC National Certificate 1st year

Year 2

• Development and training in a variety of technical areas:
• Production
• Test
• Engineering
• Design/Projects
• Commence NVQ Level 3 Training Programme
• Further Education - Completion of BTEC National Certificate

Year 3/4

• Further Development and training in a selection of the following areas:
• Engineering
• Quality
• Production Planning
• Material Supply
• Health & Safety
• Technical Support
• Design
• Purchasing
• Completion of NVQ Level 3 - Technical Support or Engineering Leadership
• Further Education - BTEC Higher National Certificate (2 year programme)
