  • Further Education - BTEC National Certificate 1st year or City & Guilds 2800 or EAL Intermediate Certificate in Engineering & Technology

Year 2

  • Development and training in various areas associated with first appointment:
    • Maintenance
    • Assembly
    • Machine Shop
    • Engineering
    • Production
    • Toolroom
    • Fabrication
  • Commence NVQ Level 3 Training Programme Mechanical Manufacture or Maintenance
  • Further Education - Completion of BTEC National Certificate or City & Guilds 2800 - Level 3

Year 3/4

  • Further structured training in one of the following areas:
    • Machine Shop
    • Toolroom
    • Fitting
    • Maintenance
    • Fabrication
  • Completion of NVQ Level 3 - Mechanical Manufacture or Maintenance
  • Further Education - To be determined by qualifications achieved in year 2 of apprenticeship
